Dr. Melinda Henne

Melinda Henne, MD, MS  relocated to Texas in July 2012 after serving as the Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Service at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina. She completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Air Force and fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Stanford University, where she also received her Master of Science in Health Services Research.

She received additional clinical research training from Duke University. Dr. Henne is nationally recognized for her skill in robot assisted laparoscopic tubal reversal and has published several book chapters and been an invited speaker at international and national meetings. She has published many peer-reviewed journal articles on a variety of subjects including public health aspects of fertility treatment, donor oocyte pregnancies, cost effectiveness of fertility treatments, in vitro fertilization, and reproductive endocrine problems. Dr. Henne’s primary clinical interests include fertility surgery, fertility options for cancer survivors, pelvic pain and endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and in vitro fertilization. She finds no greater reward in life than helping couples achieve their dreams of parenthood.
