Tiffini earned a B.S. in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 1999. Through her work with horses and other livestock on farms and in veterinary clinics, Tiffini realized she had a particular interest in Reproductive Biology. She then earned an M.S. in Endocrinology and Reproductive Physiology from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. It was in Madison were Tiffini learned bovine and porcine IVF. After a bovine research project in Asia, she returned to the U.S. and accepted an embryologist position at Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, RI.
